For years, Netherlands-based Jobe Sports has been among the most popular stand up paddleboard (SUP) brands in Europe. Wanting to take advantage of the opportunity available overseas, Jobe asked us to help bring their brand to the U.S. We developed a social-media-based activation strategy centered around a western U.S. demo tour—securing several big-name sponsors, including Bai, Cliff Bar, ENO Hammocks, and Johnnie-O. Over the tour, Instagram engagement increased 1438% and Twitter, 635%. Facebook impressions climbed 120% and the U.S. moved to position #1 for Facebook engagement, even over Jobe’s home, the Netherlands.
