Gensun Catalog

Background: As an outdoor furniture manufacturer, Gensun relies heavily on its annual catalog and print advertising to interest people in its products.

Challenge: Gensun’s goal for the catalog, as with all its advertising, is simple: make outside look like paradise, the place you dream of when you’re stuck inside. And, make sure the furniture is prominently featured.

Solution: Furniture catalogs often feature product shots on the cover. If you’ve seen one, you’ve seen them all. To avoid blending in with all the other catalogs, we chose to create a custom illustration for Gensun’s catalog cover. The cover made Gensun furniture a vital part of the outside experience. Inside, the pages feature custom photography of all the furniture and cushions, done in our studio and on location.
