Meet Taylor Swift
Background: As the Inland Empire’s largest locally-owned and operated credit union, Altura Credit Union runs a lot of promotions. Since Altura’s headquarters are located in Riverside where UC Riverside dominates the city, many of the promotions are geared towards 18 to 24 year olds.
Challenge: Altura has already created a new product called iChecking designed specifically for Generation Y. They wanted to brand iChecking and launch the product in a creative way.
Solution: Not too many 18-24 year olds are interested in checking accounts, but a good number of them are interested in Taylor Swift. That’s why we created an iChecking-sponsored contest for Altura Credit Union that gave fans a chance to meet Taylor in-person. Our cross-media campaign connected iChecking and Taylor Swift using radio, print, outdoor and online advertising.
