A New Italian Masterpiece
Background: AGV is an Italian helmet and protective gear supplier. The brand is popular in both the European and American MotoGP, street bike and motocross scenes. AGV has been worn by Valentino Rossi, David Philippaerts and other racing legends.
Challenge: AGV’s American marketing wasn’t promoting how bad-ass the brand’s motocross helmets and gear are.
Solution: Based on the concept that Italians have created more masterpieces (including helmets) than probably any other country in the world, we developed a campaign of print and online ads for the new AX-8 EVO motocross helmet. Targeting motocross riders, ads appeared on websites for Racer X, Vurbmoto and Transworld MX and in print for Dirt Rider, Racer X and Parts Magazine.
