Agency Update

Our last update was in October which means we need to fill you in on what’s happened between then and now.

Let’s start with Sarah, the newest addition to the Echo team. As admin. assistant or “the Regulator” as we like to call her, Sarah will be helping the account team wrangle the creatives and keep clients happy, neither of which is an easy task.

Echo’s newest team member, Sarah, strikes a pose

Sarah’s got a strong background in social media so she’s a great resource to have when it comes to getting our clients noticed on Pinterest, Facebook and Twitter. Before she joined us, she was marketing coordinator at Zooshoo, an online shoe, clothing and accessory company, where she did everything from social media to styling for photo shoots.

And, with the addition of Sarah, we now have not two, but three, models on staff. Just like Mustafa and Carl, Sarah has modeled apparel and accessories for a major designer. Mustafa would like you to know they are available for photoshoots anytime for the right price.

If you haven’t met Sarah yet, don’t worry. She’ll be showing up in your inbox or at a meeting real soon.

Now, let’s talk about all the great stuff we’ve been working on. Here are just a few of the projects.

The new look of LM&M

A complete redesign of LM&M (Lighting Management & Maintenance Magazine), a trade publication produced by NALMCO, the interNational Association of Lighting Management Companies. We’re also creating some of the content for the publication as well as design and layout of each issue.

Branding and a new website for Motorsports Solutions, a marketing firm that helps companies promote their brands through motorsports. On a side note, the founder of the company, Alex Whitman, is a former NASCAR driver and undoubtably one of the coolest guys we’ve ever met.

A rebrand, new website, vehicle wraps and apparel for Lumatech, a lighting management company based in Little Rock, Arkansas.

AGV website skin

Print and animated banner ads for AGV, an Italian company that manufactures helmets and protective gear for MotoGP, street bike and motocross riders.

Last but not least, we’ve been getting pats on the back. We told you we won Best of Show and five Gold Addys at the local ADDY Awards in March. But, we didn’t get to tell you that we went on to win two silver ADDYs at the Southwest Regional Addy Awards for the Upland Lemon Festival mixed media campaign and Believe packaging.

Well, that’s all the news for now. Tune in for more Echo awesomeness next week on the blog. For daily updates, check us out on Facebook.

Hanging Out at LIGHTFAIR

Our friends at [P2] talking with LIGHTFAIR attendees

This week, most of the office has been in Las Vegas for LIGHTFAIR® International, the world’s largest annual architectural and commercial lighting trade show and conference.

You may not have heard of LIGHTFAIR, but in the lighting industry, it’s a really big deal. There are approximately 475 exhibitor booths, all showing off the latest and greatest lighting products and the technology behind those products.

So, what are we doing at LIGHTFAIR? Supporting two of our favorite clients (and friends), Precision-Paragon [P2] and NALMCO. [P2] is an energy-efficient lighting manufacturer and NALMCO is a trade association for lighting management companies.

To help both clients get ready for the big event, we had to begin work months ago. We created new tradeshow graphics and materials for both companies. Then, we created ads encouraging people to visit the companies’ booths. We also redesigned LM&M, NALMCO’s trade publication, in time to pass out to LIGHTFAIR attendees.

After all that effort, we just had to come to Vegas and see our work in action. It’s been a great trip – both companies have gotten a lot of traffic to their booths.

We’re glad [P2] and NALMCO did so well at LIGHTFAIR. They’re great companies with great people. We’re just happy we get to help promote them.

NALMCO - Now With 100% More Branding & PR From Echo

Echo-Factory is happy to call NALMCO, interNational Association of Lighting Management Companies, our newest client. We got to know NALMCO through our involvement with PEERS and our relationships with [P2] and other lighting industry clients. In June, NALMCO put out a RFP for a PR campaign and some advertising materials.  We put together our pitch, and when the dust settled, we were their new agency.

Our work started out with a rebranding project.  NALMCO has a reputation for offering the most respected certifications in the lighting industry, so we created a logo that compliments that reputation.

NALMCO launched its new logo in July, and we’re currently in the middle of a three part PR campaign, so keep your eyes peeled for more from our new lighting buddies.

The association’s president, Jim Frank, was nice enough to give Echo a shout out in its monthly magazine, LM&M

“One of NALMCO’s initiatives is to increase awareness of our association in the energy market.  [...] For this reason, we are in the early stages of image branding and media campaigns.  We contracted with Echo-Factory of Rancho Cucamonga, California, to consult with NALMCO on matters of image and media.  [...]  Some might ask, ‘What was wrong with the old NALMCO logo?’ Or, ‘Why do we need to hire an outside consultant to handle NALMCO media campaigns?’ The answer is that we need to elevate and maintain a stronger and more visible presence in today’s market.  And today’s market needs NALMCO.”

Thanks Jim, we couldn’t have said it better ourselves.
